Uma Karan - Kuta (Bali)

-It has a very cosy vibe.. -The friendly staff always there to help you with any thing.. -breakfast is nice and hot when delivered -At night a guard is on duty. -It's located away from the main road so almost zero traffic noise -pool is clean -no mosquitoes or bugs in room.. -lotsa channels on tv.. -room design is good.. -telephone in room -a villa feel with a hotel price...

We're more than satisfied staying at Uma Karan. Adore the layout of the rooms which are surrounding the pool. The rooms are great! Feel like spending the whole day there! Thank for the umbrellas that you've prepared for us even before we can feel the raindrops.

Breakfast can be improved- Indonesian breakfast too salty.

Lovely modern apartments very tastefully decorated (Japanese style). Beautiful pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Location pretty good, close to shops but not close to beach. Lots of building in surrounding area so currently not an attractive area.

Surrounding area not particularly attractive - road unmade and building being done on opposite block.

Very clean and big bathroom. The room is also very big and clean. All rooms are modern and you will feel very well in them.

The breakfast was a little bit poor. You have the choice between two toasts with jam and eggs, also a juice and coffee or you take fried rice with coffee and juice. Thats Not enough if you are hungry. The second thing, I didnt like: No balkony or terrace at the rooms. The hole area of the Hotel is very very small. To small, I think. A little bit more space for balkonys at the rooms would be nice.

The staff were just gorgeous, we were traveling for business so we had a scooter to get around so the location was not an issue for us. ( it just off Sunset Rd away from the beach). The pool was lovely and the room very comfy, with a nice big bathroom. As were on the road earlish every morning we didn't bother with breakfast (it is fairly simple) we opted for stopping at our favorite places if we were so inclined to eat in the mornings. It is a small intimate setting for those that don't like BIG corporate style hotels...which we don't! :)

It's a pretty reasonable place to stay; not too far from Seminyak but not too close either; good pool area; pretty reasonable brekky; comfy and spacious room.

Such a new place but in need of more maintenance; small common area by the pool and not really private

this is probably the most luxurious hotel room i've ever stayed at a budget hotel cost! I was so impressed with everything! and since they have like 10rooms, u will feel like u r the only guest n u will like u r in a private villa!and the pool is right in front of your room which we all loved so much!

its really a bit out of the way, but there is one supermarket within walking distance, and the clubs n bars n restaurants r quite far but you can still walk.

they didnt let me stay in my confirmed reservation , i had 6 days confirmed reservation when i get there they told me we will give u only 5 days

Booked in at Uma Karen for 1 night before going to the airport the next day to fly home. It was very modern and everything seemed brand new. Not dirty at all. Room and bathroom very nice. Bed very comfy. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Pool was great.....all well laid out. Was not noisy at all when we stayed. Just a little bit out of the main area but in walking distance and we hired a moped very cheap through the hotel with helmets.....staff very friendly and helpful. Road was fine for us outside the hotel and we really liked the location. Would definitely go back.

Nothing negative to write

位於主要道路（日落大道）旁的曲巷內約500公尺，外出交通只能租車或搭計程車。

It was a cozy accommodation, the pool is straight at your door steps no matter which room you stayed into. The room was new and clean. I traveled with my friend on a budget but still look for a clean accommodation and Uma Karan had most of the things we're looking for.

Breakfast was not as interesting nor much variety, but still acceptable. There's alot of mosquitoes even if we had the electric mosquito thingy on. The actual location is not a walkable distance from the main street, so for us who like a little walk after dinner was not quite possible as it was dark and dirty+rocky.

The quietness was enjoyable and the small unit block was ideal for me.

The range of breakfast food could improve. There was no fruits or cereals on offer and a plain omellette with no filling was a little boring.

We stayed for 8 nights. It felt like a home away from home. Beautiful big rooms that were very clean! The staff were always willing to help and always had a smile of their faces. The pool was nice but cool. My partner and I went swimming in the evening usually and had the pool to ourselves! The breakfast was yummy. We found the location good. Wasn't hard to walk down to sunset and find a taxi. Some taxi drivers had no clue were Uma karan was but we found it easy to direct them :)

This place is the best in bali, you feel like in a luxury hotel but a buget price, simple perfect, nice and competent staff, new and clean and big rooms

The room and pool was great staff friendly for rates it was on budget breakfast served in room and choice givin and was nice I would recommend for a few nights budget break

Location was not the best most taxi disnt know where it was and not well signposted was down a very dark alley that lead to a dark road had to get taxi to shops and restaurants being solo traveller did not want to eat out every nite and felt not much choice in arranging food as no restaurant or shop on site and could not walk to shops in dark which did not make me feel safe
